Trip to the world’s largest mud volcano – Gobustan adventure

In this vlog, I share our journey to one of Azerbaijan’s most unique natural wonders — mud volcanoes. Located in Gobustan, these geological formations are significant not only for Azerbaijan but also globally. Our trip started from the “Chingirdag” area and continued towards one of the world’s largest mud volcanoes — “Toragay”. During this eco-tour, we explored the beauty of nature and learned more about these rare geological structures. The total route was approximately 18 km, making it both physically challenging and visually impressive. Azerbaijan is one of the leading countries in the world in terms of mud volcanoes. A large portion of the world’s mud volcanoes are located here, many of them still active. Through this video, I aim to both showcase this natural wonder and raise awareness about its protection.
